"Yo, oneechan!" Your little brother whooped, "Come play with me."
You lowered your book just enough to glare at your little brother from over the top of it.
"Go away Amio." You scowled at your little brother.
"But oneechan-!"
"Go away!" You roared, "I hate you!"
You instantly panicked as the words slipped out of your mouth and Amio began to cry. Glaring at the little boy, you quickly escaped to your room and hid under the bed just as your mom tried to comfort Amio.
"(Name)? (Name) get out here and apologize to your brother!"
You didn't answer and your mother sighed in exasperation. "Come out and apologize or you will not be having dinner!" Your mother threatened.
You weighed the options and decided to remain quiet. You'd rather miss supper than apologize to your stupid brother.
"I hate him...and big brother Moe." You muttered and curled up under your bed miserably.

"Where's (Name)?" Aomine asked as he sat down next to his wife for dinner.
"Sulking in her room." She sighed and fixed Moe's plate. "She's not allowed to have dinner until she apologizes to Amio."
Daiki glanced to the said 5 year old boy who eagerly awaited his food, "What did she do to Amio? He looks fine." Daiki pressed.
There was a pause and then a sigh, "Daiki, (Name) told Amio she hated him," his wife pursed her lips, "but why would she say that?"
Daiki stood up and gave his love a peck on the cheek, "Not sure. I'll go investigate." And with a wink the father of three padded towards your room and pushed open the door to find you on your bed reading a book with an angered expression.
"(Name)."
"..." You didn't reply.
"Did you tell Amio you hated him?"
"...yes."
Aomine's eyes widened, "What? Why? You know not to say things like that to your brother!" He scolded.
However, he froze and dread crept up on him as his darling little princess's eyes filled with fat crocodile tears.
"I HATE HIM!" You screamed, "YOU NEVER PLAY WITH ME ANYMORE! It's always Amio this and Amio that! You don't even let me play basketball with you guys and Moe! You don't love me and it's all his fault!" You were wailing now and tears were falling down your cheeks as Aomine sat next to you, his heart slowly breaking, "You gave Amio and Moe goodnight kisses n' hugs and told them you loved them last night but not me! Why don't you love me too daddy?! How come you only love Amio and Moe?!"
Daiki felt his heart shatter as his beautiful baby girl shed tear after tear. You had your own room whereas Moe and Amio shared one. Your mother had tucked you in so he thought you had been alright. Apparently he'd been neglecting the time he was supposed to spend with you in favor of teaching his boys some basketball tricks.
And you had never gotten that kiss goodnight you had waited so long for.
He couldn't have felt like a shittier father.
"(Name)...boo..." He called out softly and you turned away from him.
"Go away! Go have dinner with your family and leave me alone!" You shouted and buried your face in a pillow.
Aomine picked you up and set you in his lap. "Baby boo, I love you. And I promise I will never stop, and have never stopped, loving you."
"...b-but..."
"Shh~..." Aomine cooed in as best a fatherly tone as he could muster, "I love you and that's that. I promise, tomorrow you n' I'll go do something really special, okay? Does that sound fun?"
"J-just you and me?"
"Mmhmm."
"No Amio or Moe?"
"Neither."
You smiled a bit and kissed your dad's cheek. "O-okay daddy."
"I love you boo."
"I love you too daddy."

"Tch, why wouldn't I?"
"Just wanted to know if you're enjoying yourself."
"I'm enjoying every minute with myself."
"That is... good."

"Uh... If you ever feel alone, give me a call, okay?"
"I'll think about it."
"...Good."
"Was that all?"

"Fine."
"Glad to hear that. I hope you're not making Imayoshi-kun too mad."
"I'm not."
"I... I miss you."
"...Why?"
"I just do."
"You don't have the right to feel that way."

"You had a lot of other options."

Aomine Daiki x Reader: Doki Doki
Chapter One: Welcome to Tōō Academy
It was your first year in high school that you had just moved from (country) to Japan.
Your parents had passed away from a freak car accident and the closest living relative you had lived in Japan.
Although they were happy to take you in, you decided it was better off to have an apartment of your own because even though
they were your relatives, you weren't very close to them.
The school year had already began when you finally got the paperwork together to transfer to a school.
Getting out of the car, you slung your bag pack over your shoulder. You had on a burgundy empress cut shirt with an int

It felt good, especially since today was pretty warm. It went through her (h/c) ponytail, making it swish back and fourth. Although she had an expression-less face on, she was deep in her thoughts as the music blasted through her ears. The silver headphones were on her head, making the wires and her bangs dance together wildly. Her (e/c) eyes looked out at the scenery. Nothing was better than this.
Listening to music on the rooftop was just plainly interesting to her.
